1 Chi Bun Jimmy, Chiang Conductor
A native of Hong Kong, has performed as concert pianist since age of 13 and had studied cello as well as composition.  Chiang won First Prize at the 4th International Competition of Young Conductors „Lovro von Matacic“ in Zagreb.  He has appeared in major concert halls such as the Golden Hall of Vienna Musikverein, as well as opera theaters and International Music Festivals.  He had studied with some of the most acclaimed international artists, among such are Seiji Ozawa and Leopold Hager.  He is currently the Principal Guest Conductor of the Hong Kong Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra.

Chen Xi, Violinist

He is frequently lauded for his technical excellence, gorgeous tone, musical imagination, passion and emotional maturity. Chen Xi has become one of the most promising and respected young artistof his generation in China. The public Chinese press frequently referred to him as “a morning light from the East.”

 

 

Adrian Cave,Tenor

He trained at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music Opera School in England under Anthony Rodenat & at the European Academy of Music in in Aix-en-Provence working in the world-famous Peter Brook production of ‘Don Giovanni’.
Given a powerful lyric voice  his repertoire is wide-ranging,  from Belmonte (Seraglio), Tamino (Magic Flute),  Albert Herring (Albert Herring), Nemorino (Elisir) to Il Duca (Rigoletto),  Lenski (Onegin),  Pinkerton (Butterfly), Rodolfo (La Boheme) and more recently, Werther (Werther).
Opera and operetta concert work has been extensive  throughout Germany and England, even appearing on Bavarian State television.

 

David Stout, Baritone

A former Head Chorister of Westminster Abbey, David studied Zoology at Durham University, sang with the choir of St. John’s College, Cambridge and studied on the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was recipient of the John Hosier Scholarship, the Harold Rosenthal Award and the Principal’s Prize 2006. He continues to study with Rudolf Piernay.
David’s recital work includes Schwanengesang and Wolf’s Eichendorff Lieder at the Oxford Lieder Festival with Sholto Kynoch and Mahler Des Knaben Wunderhorn and Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Julian Philips Swift Partitions and Masque for Caliban with the Orchestra of the Swan and Copland’s Ten Old American Songs with the Haffner Orchestra.

 

Rebecca Von Lipinski,

Rebecca studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, supported by the Peter Moores Foundation, and at the National Opera Studio in London. Her awards include the Clonter Opera Prize, the Audience Prize and the Elizabeth Harwood Memorial Award.
Rebecca made her debut in Europe in 2007 in the role of La Lola in Playing Away by Benedict Mason for the Bregenz Festival and reprieved the role this year in the St Pölten Festival, Austria.
Concert highlights include Sibelius’ Luonnotar with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Adés, Harrison Birtwistle’s The Second Mrs Kong with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martyn Brabbins and Carmina Burana with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Her extensive repertoire includes Vivaldi’s Gloria, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Mass in C and Coronation Mass, Rossini’s Petite messe Solennelle, and Mahler’s Symphony No 2.

 

Elena Suvorova, mezzo-sopran

She studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and then owned a scholarship in Vienna.  In the past years, she debuted in major European Opera Houses included Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Theater an der Wien in Vienna, Theater Lübeck in Germany as well as the State Opera in White Russia, international concerts venue such as the Great Hall of the Vienna Concert Hall and the St. Petersburg Philharmonie, and has worked with renowned artists such as Placido Domingo and Mstislav Rostropovich.  The opera rolls that Suvorova has sung ranged from “Dorabella” in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), “Orlovsky” in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) to “Azucena” in Il Trovatore (Verdi) and “Erda” in Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner).
